They are equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including Digital Radiology and Ultrasound, which allow for quick and accurate assessment of any Health Issue, improving outcomes for emergency and chronic conditions alike.
The highly positive customer feedback is a testament to the clinic's exceptional service, particularly the outstanding care provided by Doctor Susan McCarty, a dedicated Dvm Veterinarian. One client recalled a stressful emergency involving their cat's painful tooth abscess, which every other clinic scheduled out for at least a week. Millersburg Veterinary Hospital, however, demonstrated their commitment to critical care by getting the cat in "that same day" and scheduling the necessary dental surgery quickly. The client praised the financial transparency, noting the staff provided an itemized list and even offered a payment plan option. Furthermore, the personal follow-up—with Dr. McCarty calling personally that night and a staff member following up a day or two later—truly defines their level of commitment. Another reviewer called Dr. McCarty "AMAZING," "professional and so smart," noting she took the time to "explain the situation to us and helped us to understand what was happening to our cat," particularly during a stressful Memorial Day weekend emergency. This is the definition of a dedicated Veterinarian Practicing at the highest level of client communication and care.
Beyond medical services, the hospital acts as a convenient resource for full Pet Sitting and a dedicated Pet groomer, allowing pet owners to address multiple care needs in one trusted location.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I’ve been meaning to write this review for over a year now but the chaos of life and my forgetful nature has delayed me a bit. Better late than never though!I had a wonderful experience at this vet clinic back in spring/summer of 2023. My cat had been experiencing tooth pain from an abscess and had stopped eating. I frantically called vet after vet looking for a clinic that would take up either same or next day since cats can’t go long without eating. Every vet I called said their earliest appointments were a week, minimum, out. A friend of mine suggested I call a rural vet and recommended Dr. McCarty’s practice. They got me in that same day and scheduled a dental/surgery for him not even a week later. The surgery and treatment itself was quite pricey, but Dr. McCarty and the staff here made sure to give me an itemized list and also informed me of which treatments I could go without and which ones they recommended I keep. They also offered me a payment plan (this was in 2023 so I’m not sure if they still do payment plans). Once I got my cat home, Dr. McCarty called me personally that night to check up on him. I also received another call from a member of staff a day or two later making sure my cat had started showing interest in food again. The experience was really great and I appreciated the phone calls after the fact as well. Had I stayed in Columbia and not moved out of the country, I would have switched vet care completely to Millersburg. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. October 22 · Rachel Morgan
- Doctor Susan McCarty is AMAZING. She is so wonderful. My cat had a freak accident over the Memorial Day weekend, and Doctor McCarty worked with us, allowing us to come to her clinic right away. She was welcoming and so kind—She helped my cat stay calm.Doctor McCarty is the BEST vet I have ever dealt with. She is professional and so smart. She explained the situation to us and helped us to understand what was happening to our cat.I will definitely be returning to Doctor McCarty for my other cats vet appointments! May 26 · Chloe Krause

- Dr. Susan is the best Vet we've had the privilege of going too. She's gone out of her way to take care of our sweet pup. She's even called me on her day off to deliver test results. Susan is dedicated and compassionate. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! We are blessed to have her in our little town. October 05 · Sara Hosea
