★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a fantastic VCA!! Easy parking, very clean and beautiful office, with very kind staff. I got a coupon from IG to have my first visit and I was expecting it to be loud and crowded, kind of like an emergency room but it wasn’t that at all! The doctor was very kind, thorough, answered all my questions and put me at ease. It was a seamless experience and I’m very grateful to all the doctors and staff here for having Little One & me last weekend. Oh that’s the other thing — amazing hours here!! So helpful to have Sunday hours so I don’t have to take off of work 🙏
August 26 · Elicia Banks-GabrielI took my cat in for a basic check-up because they had a free check up ad. I expressed that rarely our cat would breathe loud when we pick him up. I was told he was in great health but he wanted to run a test for respiratory disease. Despite no diagnosis of the issue and results, he was prescribed doxycycline. Within 24 hours, he started coughing, breathing with his mouth open, hiding, and acting lethargic — symptoms he had never shown before. 2 days after the medication, we got a call that the results came out negative. So basically, prescribed a medication for a cat didn't have any issues and now my cat is suffering. We rushed him to the emergency vet, terrified. When I called VCA back, I was told by Jocelyne that “there’s nothing they can do” and was only offered a refund for the first visit — no accountability, no concern, no follow-up.My cat is still suffering, and the lack of care, responsibility, and compassion was shocking. I expected better from a place that claims to prioritize animals' health.
July 31 · MinaI have never left a google review before. In this moment it breaks my heart too but it is important. Never bring your little baby to this “medical center”. I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS HOSPITAL. The reviews speak for themselves. I fell in love with my Beutiful pug last year, I rescued him from a shelter and he meant more than anything to me. In one year we became very attached and dreamed of the future. He had complications pooping one day and my dad suggested I bring him to this hospital, “the best in LA”. We visited the hospital where there is only one dog doctor and he goes on extended vacations when we need him. The intern mis spelled my name, kept calling my baby “mister bone” when his name is doctor bone and this felt on purpose. They refused to use the VCA database and still to this day have not uploaded any of his history from the hospital on to the app or contacted our great primary hospital in Tucson (VCA). When I brought him in for the complications they said he kidney stones and they needed to be removed immediately. We paid 5000 right away and said do whatever you need to get our dog back to us. When I went to pick him up I have never seen him like this I could tell he wasn’t taken care of gently or with care. The intern told me to pay an additional 50 dollars I thought that was strange. He had a resentment towards the doctors and fear I have never seen in this Beutiful spirit. Over the coming days he did not get better. He was prescribed the wrong initial medicine. He started crying terribly so we took him back and they gave him more medicine this medicine being way more intense than the intro drug he just had and completely messed him up. An ulcer blew up on his stomach and his pancreas shot in to save his life. When we brought him back that week to get the stitches removed he was anomic from the blood lost he was fighting but husky realized that this was caused by them and only the medicine and they transferred him to emergency care. Days later he died from seizures as the treatment increased and his liver could not keep up with everything being sucked and put back into him. The doctors at this office killed my Beutiful boy and blamed the intern prescribing the wrong medication.
August 14 · Jonathan Gray LipshyIf I was able to give 0 stars I totally would !! Don't bring your pups to this Hospital! I took my 8-month old husky there because she wasn't eating, was throwing up, and had diarrhea and mybaby died 2 days later. She was seen by Dr. William Husky and he only suggested a few shots and an X-Ray. She had that done and was sent home with some prescribed medication. Dr. Husky said she was stable and that she had probably eaten something bad to her stomach. My baby was able to walk when we took her that Thursday night and the next dayshe was super weak. I didn't think much of it because he said she was stable and I figured the medication had her feeling fatigued. I was underthe impression she was going to get better and she passed the day after. Before she passed, she began bleeding from her genital area andthrowing up. I called the hospital that Saturday, an hour before she passed, so I could speak to the doctor and give him updates on my husky. They told me he wasn't there but that they were going to call him to let him know the status of my dog. When she passed, I called back and allthey said was that they were sorry and proceeded to offer me their cremation services. Don’t bring your animals to this hospital!! All they care about is getting paid and nothing else.©Useful 4© Funny o@ Cool
December 23 · Jules VelenciaMy puppy was put down at this hospital today. Some of the doctors are professionals but i just don't understand why they didn't give my puppy a blood test upon arriving. He was hospitalized on the second day and i paid $1800 in total. On the third day, another doctor examined him and we decided to give him the blood test. It turns out that my puppy's liver was not functioning and his chance of survival is below 20%. I would have to pay $8000-$10,000 to give it a try but the doctor did not recommend it as this problem might reoccur even if he is fully healed. So why didn't they give him the blood test since I first got here? I just feel like they want me to hospitalize my puppy to get paid and then on the next day tells me that he is not going to make it. Whats even worse is that when the doctor was putting down my puppy, the receptionist and the hospital's manager, MANAGER was SINGING THE BIRTHDAY SONG!!! Do you know how hard it was to see your pet leaving this world while hearing the people outside singing and laughing? Don't tell me they have no idea that my pet is being put down. It was ridiculous and when I walked out of the room, they didn't even notice me leaving. THE MANAGER AND RECEPTIONIST DON'T GIVE AF ABOUT YOUR PET. THE ONLY THING IN THEIR EYES IS $$$. Here is a picture of my puppy before all this nonsense. I will be glad if anyone who sees this give him prayers.
