Aug 12, 2024 · Alex CoyleDr. Betsy is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate when it comes to my horses veterinary needs. She is my go to for lameness and sports medicine but also excellent for dental work and routine care. The office staff is helpful and efficient.
Apr 08, 2024 · Brianne ValentinoI have been the fortunate recipient of excellent care from Dr. Phil and all of his vets for 15 years. From the front desk to the ICU, I have experienced every facet of this practice at one time or another and have always been met with the same level of care and compassion no matter the circumstance. I recently moved to Ocala, Florida ( the horse capital of the world where there is a vet on every corner) and still refer back to Dr Phil to give me advice. Vermont and Upstate New York is so very lucky to have this wonderful world class facility in it's midst. Top quality, current care with compassion and personal connection makes even the most difficult horse situation a little bit easier to manage when Dr. Phil and his team are involved. I trust them completely.
Nov 25, 2020 · Toensing Family AccountMy young horse arrived at VLAC at 1 AM in a critical state with double pleural pneumonia, an unexpected complication of a serious laceration she suffered a week before. She spent the next 6 days fighting for her life with the best team a horse could ever have. She had round-the-clock care, the benefit of consults with experts at Cornell, and vets who were willing to think out-of-the-box. Throughout this ordeal, Drs. Phil, Abby, and Alex, as well as Vet Tech Sam, kept me up-to-date with her progress and care. They were honest, empathetic, and supportive. From day one it was very clear that the team at VLAC truly cared about both Catkin and me. Without VLAC’s extraordinary care and the vets' belief that they could help my horse beat such serious illness, I would not be off to ride today
Dec 01, 2020 · Lauren WaiteTook excellent care of our horse. Best communication I have ever had with a vet. Highly recommend.
