West Cary Animal Hospital Reviews
I just want to share how deeply grateful I am for Rachel, one of the vet techs (apologies if that’s not the correct title) at West Cary Animal Hospital. She is truly one of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve met. When I found out my dog, Isla, had a suspicious mass, Rachel was the first person to comfort me. In a moment that felt incredibly overwhelming, she offered such steady, kind words that I’ll never forget. She’s never judgmental and always makes a genuine effort to connect, with both pets and their people, in a way that feels sincere and personal. Rachel’s intentionality and heart means so much, and I’m incredibly thankful for her care and warmth.

Mar 25, 2025 · MattWe've been going to Dr. Munn for several years with two different rescue pups and couldn't be more happy. Him and his staff helped us through some hard times with the loss of our first pup from Peak Lab. Not long after we rescued an abused pup from Crisis Dogs who was scared to death of new people. She warmed up to Dr. Munn immediately. We've always felt like they've treated us like family and couldn't imagine going anywhere else ❤️
Oct 12, 2024 · Joe AuerbachWest Cary Animal Hospital were great. They fit me in during a chaotic time which I really appreciated. They also saw all three of my cats during one appointment instead of dragging it out. My cats loved them. No hard push during checkout to buy more meds. Overall a great visit. Also, voicemail transcription is hysterical
Mar 21, 2020 · Tracy RobinsonStay away if you have a sick pet. This was my 6 year old dog Millie a few days before she had to be euthanized for kidney failure. I took her to Dr. Munn because she stopped eating. Dr. Munn later indicated pancreatitis was a possibility yet he did no diagnostic tests, no treatment. This was Monday. He said to come back Thursday for blood tests if no better. I expressed concern via email on Wed. That she was dying. Dr. Munn didnt examine her when I brought her in. Friday he emailed the labs were bad and Millie was very sick. Untreated pancreatitis can cause kidney failure. I took her to another vet the following day to have her euthanized as Dr. Munn held out little hope she could be saved. The vet was concerned and upset that treatment had not been rendered. We tried to save her over the weekend but her lab tests continued to show her kidney damage was permanent. She would not eat as long as she was in Kidney failure so she was euthanized.Dr. Munn had positive reviews which was why I took Millie there. I would not recommend Dr. Munn as I feel Millie would be alive if I had taken her elsewhere.
