Penobscot Veterinary Services Reviews
First visit with my boy, Charlie. He did great, the vet was very good and the technician was outstanding.Loved their system for getting your dog in for it's appointment, no sitting in the lobby with a bunch of dogs and having one of them not be so nice to others. Wait in your car and they call you or come out and get you.A great place to take your dog or cat to be treated just like you would.
Apr 23, 2025 · Ron HawkesThank you for making a difficult situation as comfortable as possible for us as we said goodbye to our sweet Petey. We had him for 14 years and he was the most loving cat imaginable. We left very heartbroken but impressed with the service we received all around. Thank you all.
May 24, 2025 · Erin DoughtyThey helped bring our boy back to life! Their staff is awesome! We are grateful for the work they've done! My dog hated the vet but he never wines when we go there and he likes the staff too! Can't say enough good things about these good folks!
Jan 05, 2021 · Philip PenningtonI called several days ago regarding an emergency with my pet, and I was met with a receptionist who had an extremely rude tone with me on the phone. I kindly started the call by asking if I could bring my kitty in as I was having an emergency situation and saw that Penobscot was listed as an emergency vet. I stated “I saw online that you are an emergency vet, and I am not a regular patient so I was wondering if I could bring my cat in” I could not even finish my sentence when she quickly cut me off by saying “no, no, if you’re not an existing patient the answer is no” and I was shocked honestly. I never leave reviews and have been contemplating leaving one these past few days but thought it was necessary due to her nasty tone. She hung up rather quickly on me and I was able to find another vet, but with my two emergency vet situations so far this place has been very against me getting any care from them so I will not be calling Penobscot again.
Jan 26, 2025 · Morgan BillTook my dog there for the first time for his itching. Very impressed. Saw Dr. Miles. Really liked him and his assistant.
