★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My dog scratched her skin so hard she caused a skin wound on her jaw area. I had a choice to come to North Peninsula Vet or Lenity Vet next door. Since Lenity Vet charged me so much money in the past I decided to go to North Peninsula. What a great choice. The doctor said my dog had a hot spot on her jaw area. They cleaned the wound and gave some antibiotics. The price was very reasonable and the communication waa great. My dog is much better now!I highly recommend their service.
August 06 · Andrew PI cannot express how thankful I am for Dr Luehman! My 11 year old lop intermittently gets ear infections which affects his balance. We had finished a course of antibiotics about 3 weeks ago, but then he started to have mobility issues shortly after cessation. We made an appointment with his normal vet, but she was on vacation for another 5 days and he was worsening too much.I took him in and Dr Luehman found the cause of the recent continued ear infections and gave us instructions to keep him stable until his follow up on Tuesday.Isaac was finally able to stand up straight during the appointment because she cleaned his ear out thoroughly.
July 13 · Critters and CraftsI would not recommend. We were recommended this place by the vet at Dr treat in SF, but unfortunately we felt that we were taken advantage of. We made the best attempt to save our puppies life, but it felt like we were taken advantage of based of our emotions. Two surgery and 4 days of hospitalization and my puppy looked worse than before. We had no choice to put him down. This place is expensive and provided no solution. I would off much rather gone somewhere else.
August 28 · Juan AcevedoI brought my dog here in an emergency after he accidentally ingested a large number of sleep aid pills. Instead of providing immediate care, the staff told us we must call Poison Control first — even though we were already at the ER and clearly in a critical situation. It took us over 40 minutes just to get through on the phone. During that time, my dog could have been receiving urgent care, but the staff refused to act. After finally speaking with Poison Control, we were told we could go home and monitor him. Despite this, the clinic kept us waiting for over two hours, doing nothing other than checking his temperature and glancing at his eyes and ears. My dog was visibly sedated by that time.Even worse, they tried to prescribe anti-nausea medication, even though vomiting was helping him expel the toxins. They also wanted to give him medication to “prevent drowsiness” — when the drowsiness was caused by the pills he had already absorbed due to their delay. In the end, we left without any meaningful treatment, yet were still charged over $200 for a “consultation” that provided no value and delayed critical care.I submitted a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau, but this hospital never even responded. This was a dangerous, irresponsible experience and I cannot recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their pet’s wellbeing.
July 19 · zixin douWe recently brought our dog to North Peninsula for three different nighttime emergencies, and each time we have been very grateful for the kind and experienced care we received from the vets and the vet techs. The vets were very careful and knowledgeable, and offered thorough explanations. Their treatment plans worked wonders, and our dog is doing great as a result of their attention.
