Nunda Veterinary Clinic Reviews
I would give a negative if I could. My cat couldn’t eat due to teeth grown into my cats lower lip. I was quoted $1000. I skipped all bills, paid $1000 to have specifically 2 canines pulled. She seemed a little better, went downhill again. They wanted $362 to look at her. I didn’t have it. Not eligible for payments, not eligible for care credit. Fast forward to 5 months later, sons ESA still sick, call for a quote to have her put down. $622. Can’t afford $362, how can I afford $622. Finally after blowing up because it shouldn’t cost $622 to put down a cat they give me a rate of $86.50. My friend paid it. I’ve never put down an animal before, we’ve had her 12 years. She was skin and bones because I couldn’t get help. I’ve even been told they don’t do payments because poor people don’t pay . I’m not all poor people. I feel discriminated against. The day we had our kitty put down we had to wait in a room, they took our cat to a different room. 15 minutes later they walk in carrying my cat who I couldn’t even pet due to pain by the back of her neck. She looked horrified. They said they couldn’t sedate her because her front leg veins collapsed. They laid her on the table, had her head over the edge of the table across from me and they held her neck down with their hand around her neck, not by the nape of her neck. She lifted her back leg, injected her, immediately put the stethoscope on saying she was gone instantly. They put her head on the table then said we could comfort her. She was gone almost the second the needle went in and we couldn’t comfort her at all. She wasn’t sedated at all. I think them first off carrying her by the neck was uncalled for then the brutality of them holding her neck holding her down like they were choking her and pressing down and not letting her see us was horrific. My son and daughter were there, its my sons ESA, hes 12 years old and uses her to cope with trauma and disabilities. He watched that! They came back 5 minutes later with a blue garbage bag, folded her in half and stuck her in a trash bag and tied it off. After this, I’ll never own another animal as long as I live because after seeing that, I probably will never trust another vet as long as I live.So afterwards I take her to a different place to have her cremated and I notice she still had her canines that I paid $1000 to have removed 5 months prior. She had black spots on the bottom of her chin. I’m pretty sure she originally was sick because they never removed her teeth in the first place, so what did I pay for? Her not eating probably killed her mostly. I seriously hope everyone thinks twice before using this vet. Spare yourself and your pet from horrific trauma. The way they treat animals is disgusting.

Jul 03, 2025 · Kim RussellThe Nunda Veterinary Clinic is the only place we have ever trusted to care for our pets. Dr. Emo's love for animals and professionalism is unmatched; she went above and beyond in so many ways for our Golden Retriever who was diagnosed with cancer.
