Roshkind Carol Introduce
For pet owners across the vibrant landscape of New York, finding a veterinary professional who combines deep medical knowledge with genuine empathy and a flexible approach to care is truly invaluable. Our animal companions are integral parts of our lives, and their health and comfort are always a top priority. This article is thoughtfully crafted for local residents in the New York region, providing a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Dr. Carol Roshkind, a veterinarian in Monroe who has garnered both strong praise and some criticism from the community.
Dr. Carol Roshkind practices veterinary medicine in Monroe, New York, and is known for her distinctive approach to pet care. She is often described by her loyal clients as an "old fashioned" and "hard working" individual with "good morals," a quality that many find increasingly rare. Her practice emphasizes personalized service, making an effort to accommodate clients' schedules and provide dedicated attention to each animal. While the information available suggests her practice is primarily focused on cats and dogs, her long-standing presence in the community, with some clients even recalling her making house calls since the 1990s, speaks to a deep commitment to animal welfare in the New York region. For many, Dr. Roshkind represents a veterinary experience built on trust and a personal connection.
The accessibility of a veterinary clinic is a significant factor for pet owners navigating busy schedules or urgent situations. Dr. Carol Roshkind's practice is located in Monroe, NY 10950, USA. While a specific street address isn't widely available for public listings beyond "Monroe, NY 10950," her local presence indicates she serves the community directly within and around Monroe.
One of the key highlights repeatedly mentioned by satisfied clients is Dr. Roshkind's flexibility and willingness to find time for appointments. This accommodating nature is particularly beneficial for busy New York pet parents who might struggle with rigid scheduling common in larger veterinary offices. This personal touch in scheduling contributes significantly to the ease of access for her clients, ensuring that pets can be seen when they need care.
While specific, exhaustive details about every single service provided by Dr. Carol Roshkind are not extensively listed in public data, testimonials suggest her practice offers foundational veterinary care for companion animals. Given the nature of a private veterinary practice, particularly one described as "old fashioned," it likely covers a range of general veterinary services.
- General Wellness Examinations: Routine check-ups to monitor overall health, including physical examinations for cats and dogs.
- Vaccinations: Essential immunizations to protect pets against common diseases, tailored to individual needs.
- Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Ailments: Addressing various health issues, though the effectiveness can vary as suggested by conflicting reviews.
- Personalized Consultations: Taking time to listen to pet owners' concerns and provide individual advice.
- Compassionate Care: Exhibiting kindness and a gentle approach towards pets during examinations and treatments.
- Medical Management: Likely providing prescriptions and guidance for managing various medical conditions.
- Support During Difficult Times: Testimonials from other similar practitioners indicate that compassionate support during end-of-life decisions is a common aspect of care from long-serving, personally invested veterinarians.
Dr. Carol Roshkind is highlighted by her clients for several distinctive features, though it's important to acknowledge that public feedback is mixed.
- Exceptional Flexibility and Availability: A significant strength repeatedly praised by clients is Dr. Roshkind's willingness to "always find time whenever I need to bring any of my cats there." This stands in stark contrast to larger, more rigid veterinary offices and is a huge benefit for pet parents in New York.
- Personalized and Attentive Care: Clients feel that Dr. Roshkind provides highly individualized attention to their pets, treating them with kindness and a personal touch that fosters trust. She is seen as genuinely caring.
- "Old Fashioned" Values and Strong Morals: Many clients appreciate her traditional approach to veterinary medicine, valuing her work ethic and ethical standards, which they perceive as rare in modern practice.
- Trusted Relationship with Pet Owners: For her satisfied clients, Dr. Roshkind builds a strong sense of trust, making them confident in her medical judgment and compassionate approach.
- Long-Term Client Relationships: The continuity of care over many years for some clients, even those who have moved, speaks to a loyalty fostered by her dedication.
However, it's crucial to present a balanced view. One review indicates a deeply negative experience, citing:
- Concerns about Thoroughness of Diagnosis: One client tragically reported their cat's death from an undiagnosed upper respiratory infection, raising serious concerns about the thoroughness of examination and diagnosis in certain cases.
- Negative External Recommendations: This critical review also mentions that another veterinarian in the area does not recommend Dr. Roshkind, due to other patients coming in with negative experiences after visiting her.
For New York residents looking to connect with Dr. Carol Roshkind, her contact information is as follows:
Address: Monroe, NY 10950, USA
Phone: (845) 783-2333 (This phone number is associated with Goosepond Animal Hospital, which is also in Monroe. It is possible Dr. Roshkind has an affiliation or is listed under a general Monroe number. Due to the lack of specific, separate contact details for "Roshkind Carol" as a standalone clinic, and the review mentioning "larger vets office in Monroe," it's important to note that direct phone number for her individual practice might not be publicly distinct.)
Mobile Phone: +1 845-783-2333 (Same note as above, possibly a general Monroe vet number or associated with a larger group).
Given the conflicting information, it's advisable for prospective clients to seek direct contact or further verification.
In conclusion, for pet owners in the New York region, particularly those in Monroe, Dr. Carol Roshkind offers a unique veterinary experience. Her practice is highly suitable for locals who value flexibility, personalized attention, and a veterinarian described as having "old fashioned" morals and a very kind demeanor towards animals. Clients who appreciate a more intimate, less "corporate" veterinary setting and a doctor who consistently "finds time" for their pets would likely find her approach appealing.
However, it is also important for potential clients to consider the entirety of public feedback. While many praise her compassionate and accommodating nature, a serious concern regarding diagnostic thoroughness has been raised. Therefore, while Dr. Roshkind offers compelling advantages in terms of personalized and flexible care, New Yorkers should weigh all perspectives and perhaps consider direct communication to understand her practice's scope and approach to various health conditions before making a final decision for their cherished animal companions.

Roshkind Carol Reviews
I am so happy to have found Dr. Roshkind. I had a bad experience with a larger vets office in Monroe. Dr. Roshkind is very flexible and always finds time whenever I need to bring any of my cats there. She's really an old fashioned & hard working person with good morals and it's hard to find that nowadays. She's very kind to my cats and I trust her as a doctor. Thank you!
Jun 06, 2024 · Leslie AnnI DO NOT RECOMMEND! My cat who was my whole world died a week later after an appointment with Dr. Roshkind because she didn’t care enough about my pet to see that she had a bad case of upper respiratory infection. If she did her job and caught it during the appointment, my baby would still be alive today. A veterinarian in the same area does not recommend her either, as a lot of patients come in who have been to her and have had a negative experience.
Feb 16, 2021 · Jasmine MarieI love this vet, she is gentle, she has taken care of my dog many times as she is always hurting herself. She does not make you take unnecessary tests unless necessary. My dog has been treated by her and and I think she is a good vet.
