★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m so thankful for the team at The Cove. We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl last night, and the staff was incredible. They were so kind, patient, and compassionate, and they made sure our final moments with her were filled with love and peace. They took care of every request we had and made a heartbreaking experience a little more bearable. She passed peacefully with her head in my wife’s lap, surrounded by love. We’re so grateful for the care and support we received during such a difficult time.
July 18 · Jeremy DismukesOn July 4th of this year, we lost our beloved Shih Tzu, Zeus to heart failure. It was shocking and unexpected. The team members at The CoVe were kind, thoughtful, and supportive during such a difficult time. I really appreciate all they did for us and I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you! ❤️
July 11 · Holly Gunn(This is a lengthy one) Our sweet boy Leo had an unexpected emergency and we were referred here by our primary vet. When we arrived, they immediately greeted us and took my boy back for testing and pain meds. They put us in a private room. They were very thorough with their explanations for what exactly was going on and provided answers for all the questions we had. Sadly, we had to make the tough decision of putting our baby down. They were so gentle with him, so kind to us and gave us as much time as we wanted to spend with him before, as well as afterwards and talked us through the entire process (this was our first euthanasia). The staff is kind, empathetic, and friendly. They gave us clippings of his fur and some ink prints of his nose and paws. When we returned (only a couple days later - so fast!) to pick up the cremated remains, they had him in a beautiful wooden urn with an engraved name plate and a clay paw impression. The lady at the office where we picked him up was also very kind and empathetic. We also received a very beautiful letter in the mail with a poem and everyone had signed it for us. Overall, I highly recommend The Cove for any emergencies you may have and if we ever need their services again, we will be returning. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us and for being so kind in our time of grief. Here are a couple photos of our Leo.
March 27 · Lisa HiteOur little dog, Mia, was treated so well at The Cove. They took the best care of her and Dr. Patterson was nothing short of fantastic!!! Not only was she unbelievably knowledgeable, but very thorough and took a lot of time explained everything so well to us. Knowing they are her when we need them brings us great comfort. These Dr’s and care staff are top notch!!! Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for caring for our precious dog so well.
May 28 · Hope VI really wish I would have read the reviews before taking my girl there who was in congestive heart failure. She Was doing so great until I move down to Virginia Virginia Beach and was recommended this facility for her cardiologist appointment. She was doing great after seeing cardiologist in Northern Virginia. She was doing great before we went down to Virginia Beach. Even at the first appointment at Cove, she was doing great. My little girl really had beaten the odds after being in CHF for so long without many symptoms. After the COVE recommended that she go off of all of her heart medications because she was stable, my girl died three months later. I'll never forgive myself for not doing my due diligence.
