Bedford Animal Hospital Reviews
Multiple people whose opinions I typically respect recommended me to this practice, so I wanted to like it, but when I told the vet who saw me about my concerns regarding my aging cat he was very dismissive and rude to me. He refused to let me have the preventative care and testing that I'd brought my cat in for. I paid the visit fees, even though my cat only got weighed during the appointment (which I could have done myself at home for free). I took time off work to waste my money for the appointment, and stressed out my cat for no reason. I'm unconvinced there's any reason for me to bother coming back if that's indicative of how I'll be spoken to and how little care my cat would receive. It wasn't so bad that the practice deserves only 1 star, but if Google would allow reviewers to give 1½ stars I think that would be my rating.
May 26, 2025 · IanI am a disabled individual and my dog has become sick. I called this clinic for help. I am a young individual with severe disabilities and I am on disability. My dog is extremely important and she is such a sweet girl, but this clinic has told me without cash in hand without payment upfront. I cannot save my dog. They will not help her when you consider a clinic. Please consider that if you ever fall on hard times, which all of us are moments away from this clinic, will turn their back on you.
Apr 17, 2025 · Halley TolleyWe have been going here for 15 years. This whole office has been so kind to my dog. I feel like they love her and always are excited to see her. The receptionists and vet techs have offered love and advice for my now elderly dog that is dealing with arthritis pain They are simply kind people that love animals. I am so happy we found them. I have never felt that they wanted to do extra tests or extra treatments just to make money. They are honest and truly care about my sweet dog. I trust them completely and that means a lot.
Oct 16, 2024 · Brynne MorrisonMy husband and I been customers of Bedford Animal Hospital for 16 years. We have rescued many dogs and cats during this time and our beyond thankful for the wonderful doctors that have treated our family. During our 16 years we have never not paid our bill in full, regardless of the cost. On 9/4/24 we lost our sweet Suki, I was completely heartbroken and just needed to get home and cry. I stopped at the front desk and told the receptionist that my husband would come pay the bill tomorrow. She said was that approved? We don't do that and need payment now. I was completely taken back and told her, we always pay our bill and my husband will come tomorrow. As I was driving home after the shock of putting my Suki down, I get a call from Beth stating she would need payment for today. Absolutely the worst customer service ever by this front desk staff and manager. Know your customers!!! 16 years of service, always paid their bill and to be treated like this is awful. Needless to say, my husband returned immediately and paid in full. We will never use this office again. Again, KNOW your customer's. As an Office Manager Beth needs additional training on customer service.
Sep 20, 2024 · Vicky RobinsonGood animal hospital treating all sorts of pets plus livestock. 4 vets plus a surgeon, vet owned practice. Flexible hours and very caring and accommodating. Have a great website with discounts on common supplements like heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Plenty of parking, spacious waiting area, hc parking available and a covered outside waiting room for less socialized animals. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Boarding available. Been here well over 20 years. A+ for your animals.
