Vetmobile Introduce
For pet owners across North Carolina, the well-being of our furry, feathered, or scaled family members is always a top priority. Ensuring they receive regular, high-quality veterinary care is crucial, but sometimes, getting your pet to a traditional clinic can be a challenge. Whether it's due to an anxious pet, a busy schedule, or simply the desire for a more personalized experience, the concept of mobile veterinary care has revolutionized how many North Carolinians approach their pet's health. In Raleigh, you have a fantastic option in Vetmobile, led by the compassionate and highly skilled Dr. Marty. This article will explore what makes Vetmobile an exceptional choice for local pet owners, highlighting its unique advantages, services, and why it's becoming the preferred option for many.
In the bustling lifestyle of Raleigh and its surrounding communities, convenience combined with expert care is a winning combination. Vetmobile understands this need perfectly. Imagine your beloved cat or dog receiving their annual check-up, vaccinations, or even minor treatments in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. This eliminates the stress of car rides, waiting rooms, and unfamiliar environments that can often make vet visits a daunting experience for pets and their owners alike. Dr. Marty and her team at Vetmobile bring professional veterinary services directly to your doorstep, providing a level of care that feels both personal and deeply considerate of your pet’s individual needs and temperament.
Vetmobile, while having a physical base at 5605 Chapel Hill Rd #122, Raleigh, NC 27607, truly defines accessibility by bringing veterinary care directly to you. This mobile model is a game-changer for residents throughout Raleigh and the wider Wake County area. Instead of you traveling to a clinic, Dr. Marty and her team travel to your home, workplace, or another convenient location within their service area. This significantly reduces stress for both pets and owners, especially for those with multiple pets, senior animals, or pets who experience anxiety in clinical settings. The physical address serves as a central hub for operations, but for the client, the service extends wherever their pet may be within the designated service radius. This "vet-comes-to-you" approach means that excellent veterinary care is always accessible, regardless of traffic or your pet's comfort with travel.
Vetmobile, under the expert guidance of Dr. Marty, offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, all delivered with the unparalleled convenience of in-home visits. While the full scope of services is best confirmed by contacting them directly, you can generally expect:
- Wellness and Preventative Care: This includes routine physical examinations, vaccinations tailored to your pet's lifestyle and risk factors, parasite prevention (fleas, ticks, heartworm), and nutritional counseling. These services are foundational to maintaining your pet's long-term health.
- Sick Pet Exams: For pets experiencing illness or injury, Dr. Marty can perform thorough examinations, diagnose conditions, and recommend appropriate treatment plans, all within the comfort of your home.
- Diagnostic Testing: Many common diagnostic tests, such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, can be performed on-site or samples collected for laboratory analysis, providing crucial insights into your pet's health.
- Pain Management: For pets suffering from chronic pain, arthritis, or post-operative discomfort, Dr. Marty can assess their needs and develop effective pain management strategies to improve their quality of life.
- End-of-Life Care and Euthanasia: For older or terminally ill pets, Vetmobile offers compassionate in-home palliative care and, when necessary, peaceful euthanasia services, allowing pets to pass with dignity in a familiar and loving environment.
- Microchipping: A simple yet vital procedure to help identify your pet if they ever get lost, significantly increasing the chances of a happy reunion.
- Minor Procedures: Depending on the specific needs, some minor procedures that do not require a sterile operating room can be performed in the home setting.
- Health Certificates: For pets traveling domestically or internationally, health certificates can often be issued after a thorough examination.
Vetmobile distinguishes itself through several key features and highlights that truly benefit pet owners in the Raleigh area:
- Unmatched Convenience: The primary highlight is undoubtedly the in-home service. This eliminates the need for stressful car rides, crowded waiting rooms, and the potential exposure to other sick animals, making vet visits far more comfortable for both pets and their owners.
- Stress-Free Environment for Pets: For anxious or fearful pets, a visit to a traditional clinic can be incredibly traumatic. By bringing care directly to your home, Vetmobile minimizes stress and anxiety, fostering a calmer and more positive veterinary experience. This is especially invaluable for cats and senior pets who are often more sensitive to changes in environment.
- Personalized Attention: In a home setting, Dr. Marty and her staff can dedicate their full attention to your pet without the distractions of a busy clinic. This allows for more thorough examinations, more in-depth discussions about your pet's health, and a truly personalized approach to care.
- Experienced and Compassionate Professional (Dr. Marty): Customer reviews consistently praise Dr. Marty for her knowledge, trustworthiness, kindness, and genuine love for her patients. Her ability to connect with animals and provide compassionate care is a significant advantage.
- Ideal for Multi-Pet Households: For owners with several pets, mobile veterinary care simplifies logistics immensely. Instead of coordinating multiple carriers and trips to the clinic, all pets can be seen during a single, convenient home visit.
- Focus on Individualized Care: The in-home environment allows Dr. Marty to observe your pet in their natural setting, which can provide valuable insights into their behavior and health that might be missed in a clinical environment.

Vetmobile Reviews
Dr. Marty really loves her patients. She is knowledgeable and trustworthy. Having her come to my house to care for my cats is invaluable. My old cat couldn’t possibly be taken to a clinic, it causes her too much anxiety. Dr. Marty is the best vet I have ever gone to and she comes to me! It is a relief to have a mobile vet with her skills and kindness.
Nov 10, 2023 · Betsy WaltersI truly can't say enough about Dr. Marty and her staff. They have always been so caring and always ALWAYS go the extra mile for my cat. They really make you feel like they are your only patient and treat your pet as their own. There was never a moment when I've doubted their practice and am just so thankful for them. I couldn't recommend them enough!
Jul 08, 2022 · Nicole GeorgeDr. Marty and her staff are such genuine and caring people. They take care of my boston terrier and have been nothing but amazing since the moment we got him. They go above and beyond to assure that your pet is well taken care of and happy. My dog loves seeing them and I know he is always in great hands.
Apr 29, 2022 · Fawn ThayerHonestly I don’t think VetMobile even needs anymore reviews because everyone on here obviously knows they are AMAZING. But to add a few kudos: I greatly appreciate the personal touch that Dr. Marty and Dr. Lee’s office provides. They make you feel as though your pet is the only one that matters every time I call and when they come to visit. Cat, is exceptional at fielding my questions on the phone and ensuring my babies are taken care of promptly. My two dogs see Dr. Lee, who is newer to Dr. Marty’s practice and just adore him. He is such a wonderful vet, calm, caring, thoughtful, and reassuring as every pet parent would want. Thank you so much to this team for taking such great care in the work that they do!!
Aug 09, 2021 · Taylor RoganDr. Marty and her team have been taking care of my cats for years, and she's seen us through serious illnesses and routine health maintenance with equal care and expertise. It is so much less stressful for my pets (and for me!) when they can be examined and treated in their own home. We've got all three of my cats on the same schedule for vaccinations and check-ups, so one visit each year takes care of all of them, but Marty has also seen us through very serious illnesses and has presided at the deaths of two of my beloved companions with deep and sincere compassion. You and your animals will be in kind and gentle hands with Marty Edwards. BTW, she does have an office for procedures that can't be done in the home, and the office staff are wonderful.
