Based on the provided customer review, a key feature of Padfield Lisa L DVM's practice, or at least a notable aspect highlighted by clients, relates to a specific preference regarding certain dog breeds.
Features / Highlights:
- Breed Preferences: A significant highlight, albeit a cautionary one from a specific client's perspective, is the stated aversion to "Pitbulls" by Dr. Lisa L. Padfield. The review indicates that the veterinarian "made it VERY clear to her own STAFF that relayed the message to me that she does not like Pitbulls at all." This implies a potential reluctance to provide the same level of affection or attention to these breeds. This is a critical piece of information for any potential client with a Pitbull or similar breed, as it directly impacts the perceived level of care and comfort for both the pet and owner.
- Client Loyalty Based on Volume: The review also mentions that staff relayed a message implying Dr. Padfield was "only caring for my dogs because I had so many and she was getting good money." This suggests that for clients with multiple pets, particularly those that generate substantial revenue, the practice might be inclined to continue care. This could be interpreted as a business-oriented approach.
- Potential for Excellent Care for Certain Breeds: The review explicitly states, "She may be a great vet to someone with a chocolate lab or golden retriever." This suggests that for owners of more traditionally favored breeds, the veterinary care provided by Dr. Padfield might be highly satisfactory, implying expertise and a positive demeanor with these types of dogs.
- Established Local Presence: Being located in Raleigh, NC, for some time, as implied by having an established client base, indicates a local presence and familiarity within the North Carolina community.

In conclusion, for pet owners throughout North Carolina, particularly those in the Raleigh area, Padfield Lisa L DVM represents a local option for veterinary care. Its convenient location on Fayetteville Road ensures ease of access for residents, minimizing travel time for essential pet appointments, from routine check-ups to addressing health concerns. The practice likely offers a standard array of general veterinary services, typical for maintaining the overall health and well-being of companion animals, which is crucial for comprehensive pet care.
However, it is vital for potential clients, especially those with certain dog breeds, to be aware of the specific feedback highlighted in customer reviews. The explicit concern about the veterinarian's reported dislike for "Pitbulls" and the suggestion that care for certain clients might be influenced by the number of pets (and thus revenue) are significant points to consider. For owners of breeds that are perceived as less favored, this could impact the comfort level and the overall experience of both the pet and the owner during visits. Conversely, for owners of breeds such as Golden Retrievers or Chocolate Labs, the practice may offer excellent care, as suggested by the review.
Therefore, while Padfield Lisa L DVM is a locally accessible veterinary option in Raleigh, its suitability for local residents will largely depend on individual circumstances, particularly the breed of their pet. For those with breeds that are not the subject of reported preferences, the clinic could serve as a convenient and capable source of veterinary services. However, for owners of breeds like Pitbulls, it would be prudent to inquire directly about the clinic's policies and approach to their specific breed before committing to care. Ultimately, choosing a veterinary practice is a personal decision, and understanding these specific aspects can help North Carolina pet owners make the most informed choice for their beloved companions.

Padfield Lisa L DVM Reviews
Do not bring your pitbull to her. She made it VERY clear to her own STAFF that relayed the message to me that she does not like Pitbulls at all. She would never love on my dogs or give them an ounce of attention. NOT A GOOD VET FOR PITBULLS. Her own staff told me that she was only caring for my dogs because I had so many and she was getting good money. She may be a great vet to someone with a chocolate lab or golden retriever, but I would NEVER take any pitbull breed to her!
