Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
Dr Alexander and crew have always treated my pup, Dawson, with the best care. You can tell everyone here loves what they do and the pets they care for. I’m very thankful to the Banfield EC team!
May 21, 2025 · Emily A.Comfortable atmosphere, courteous and efficient service at front office and medical staff. Much appreciate Dr Brown personally providing updates on health of Remaya (Remy) during each visit.
Mar 21, 2025 · Patricia Gray-DanielsLet me preface by saying I have been taking my dogs to multiple Banfields across state lines and this is the first one that we've had problems with. I have been a customer for over 9-10 years.1) They sent one of four accounts to collections as we allegedly waived to be notified about bills? How does that even make sense? Crazy because for this one specific account our dog had been in multiple times prior with no mention of an overdue balance . We sometimes pay 500-1000$ for problem visits for this dog as well as other dogs and never had a problem with paying same day. Never had an issue for over 9-10 years previously and somehow because of admin error, one of the accounts went to collections and they did nothing to rectify it. It is not a problem of paying it but the lack of accountability or solutions offered.2) It is for this same dog that despite many tests that were done, she was misdiagnosed. Some of the vets don't even prechart or review the charts...i.e. many times we have had to reiterate tests and or prior surgeries done. Some of which THEY did and so should have extensive records of. When asked about this dog's hair loss after an ultrasound that never resolved, it was dismissed as "she's old".3) One of my other dogs started being anxious during visits. He is 10 years old. All of a sudden, we are no longer allowed to do drop offs for him. I get that an anxious dog can be a lot for staff, but there was no attempt to communicate this to us which we would have understood. It is not the problem of no drop offs allowed anymore for this dog, just the run around of "oh we do not have any more drop offs available". Anyone who works in any medical office would know if there was some sort of flag on the chart and I had to be the one to ask about it . Furthermore, I also had to be the one to ask for a solution - i.e. calming meds for him as needed for office visits. The manager here, Robin, is not helpful. She also lied about other things but today lied about speaking to us previously about how our dog is no longer allowed drop offs.4) They try to upcharge consistently and so it is hard to understand what is actually recommended vs just an attempt at racking up the bill. Quoted 500$ at the time of one dog's appointment for a skin tag removal which was scheduled just one week after his last appointment without mention of this. $500 for a skin tag removal???-anesthesia and blood work already done for his dental cleaning. If that is just the company's baseline prices fine but they tried to offer pathology for a simple skin tag as well as multiple additional dental services which were never covered or explained prior to the visit by a vet.
Jun 10, 2025 · Jem PangMy pets have been patients here since this location opened; we left the Columbia location and the quality of care increased and my stress about going to the vet decreased. My dogs hated the craziness and loudness of the Columbia location. They were so kind and caring when we had to put our cat down due to cancer. They are also great at providing continuity of care not bouncing me from vet to vet.Why not 5 stars? It is hard to get appointments....
Dec 13, 2024 · Jill MarieBest Banfield experience so far,Highly recommend this one. Went to westminster up until covid, then they only did drop offs. I like this vet and the ability to go in with my pet 🐾
